Polycarbonate Injection Moulding

The key attributes of polycarbonate thermoplastic is its temperature resistance, impact resistance and optical properties (transparency).

Typical applications include:

  • Drinking glasses
  • Lenses
  • Safety glasses
  • Lab equipment
  • CD, DVD and MP3 cases

Polycarbonate thermoplastic material is tough and stable, can resist temperatures of -40°F to 280°F and is stain resistant & non-toxic. Polycarbonate weighs about six times less than glass making it ideal for lightweight applications and is also often used as a shatter-resistant substitutes for glass.
