Insert moulding can be used for a variety of applications including functional inserts such as captive nuts or bolts, specialist inserts such as electronic components, structural components to give added strength to an item or simply for decoration.

Insert moulding reduces assembly requirements and thus production time, increases consistency and allows for a truly diverse range of design options.

Thermoplastics most suited to insert moulding include Nylon, Capron, PVC, Delrin, Celcon and Polypropylene.
